Spotter NCspotter
Spotted in Charlotte (NC), United States of America
Date 2018-06-06 02:28

It's hard to believe this spot is nearly four years old. My mom wanted to briefly run into Whole Foods on a nice Sunday evening in Southpark, so I just sat in our car to see what drove past. I heard something come roaring down Fairview Rd and turned to see this orange Aventador screaming past the store. I grabbed my camera, jumped out of our car, and ran over to the nearby intersection at Sharon Rd, where fortunately the Lambo had gotten stopped by a red light (with a "no turn on red" sign). I was shaking when I whipped my camera out, but somehow the few pics I did manage to get all came out fairly clear. Hopefully the quality is acceptable; it's hard to do much better in low-light conditions with a point and shoot.

@thomcarspotter haha thanks man! I think black wheels with orange calipers are a must on an orange Aventador.

@NCspotter This car will always be the one that every spotter wants to catch and hear cruising down the neighborhood street. I think it is safe to say that even after 4 years this Italian work of art still can get the adrenaline pumping. Awesome work, Nick.

@Horse-Power I think the Aventador is the one car I can tell from exhaust note alone. It's so distinctive and so ridiculous-sounding at the same time. I'm glad they seem to have gotten more popular here in the past couple years, because they were absolute unicorns when I spotted this. Thanks as always for your comments buddy!

@NCspotter Hi Nick. Thanks I did read your comments on the status of the Lambo store in Charlotte. I'm hoping that in December that the Urus will be available to drive at all locations in the US. I am just starting to plan out my vacation and I'm not sure if It will be in Florida or California. I will know more in November. I will be looking out for your next post, brother. Did you get your exhaust fixed? Anyways buddy great job once again on this orange bull. Talk with you soon.

@Horse-Power I saw on their Instagram page that they have had at least one or two Urus models come through their showroom. I presume they have already been delivered or were there just for promotion. It would be tough to go wrong with either place in winter, you might just have to flip a coin and see where it takes you haha. I was hoping to have something new posted up by now, but I've had very little time to edit any pics, and this week's schedule isn't very advantageous for AG. I have managed to catch a couple of decent cars over the past week though. I will be heading down to Charlotte tomorrow for what feels like the first time in forever, so I hope to hit a couple of my spotting areas on Friday night if the weather cooperates and I feel like forgoing watching the Panthers game. I haven't had a chance to get my exhaust taken care of yet, fortunately it's not a big leak but I think it's melting a differential mount so I am going to try to take care of that next week if they'll schedule me for something other than a mid shift lol. Anyway buddy thanks for your comments and have a great rest of your week. I better get some sleep because I've got a loooooooong day tomorrow lol.
