While the Pur Sport entices with its focus on fun and curvy roads, the Supersport was developed as a pure high-speed vehicle. Whether the Pur Sport is truly practical for cornering remains to be seen... I have my doubts. But Bugatti itself has advertised it for twisty country roads.
The Supersport, with its long and curved rear end, is considerably longer and more aerodynamic. On the other hand, the Pur Sport features a fixed rear spoiler, which is rather atypical for Bugatti.
The wheels mounted on the Pur Sport are arguably the most beautiful wheels Bugatti has ever produced. When compared to those on the Supersport, they seem rather dull. But, of course, that is a matter of personal taste.
Looking at the front end of the two French cars, they are also significantly different. The Super Sport's front end is much more ergonomic, meaning it has fewer details and fewer edges. On the other hand, the Pur Sport has enlarged air intakes, with even the round grille being larger than that of the Super Sport.
While the Pur Sport wobbles around the environments at a speed of 350 km/h, the Super Sport shoots over the asphalt at 489 km/h. That is certainly an astonishing difference. However, when it comes to the 0-100 km/h acceleration, the Pur Sport performs better. It accelerates in 2.30 seconds, while the Supersport takes an additional 0.10 seconds. The Pur Sport has 1500 horsepower, while the Super Sport has 1600 horsepower.
Weight is also a factor. We all know that Bugattis are not the lightest cars, and the Super Sport weighs in at 1995 kg. On the other hand, the slightly slimmed down Pur Sport is "only" 1945 kilograms.
