We see new car manufacterers come and go day after day. Often, these brands live a short life, like Heynsdyk (who still remembers them?). There’s a worldwide crisis going on, so these starters are extra fragile. Despite all these bankrupts, another brave fighter is ready to start: VÜHL Automotive!
VÜHL is a manufacterer which, as the abbreviation says (Vehicles of Ultra High-performance and Lightweight), will build leightweight sportcars. Exact details and specs about their newest model, the 05, are unknown. We will know more during the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place 11-14 July, where VÜHL will reveal their car. We however can say something about the development.
VÜHL is a manufacterer based in Mexico-City, the capital city of Mexico. Despite that you can’t just say the products come from Mexico, because not many of the production takes place here. The body is manufactured in Canada, only the assembly takes place in Mexico. It’s a car built for the European market: the handling is optimalized in the UK, the further developing takes place in France with tire manufacturer Michelin. As you would expect, these tires can be found underneath the car.
