There is an important scoop of Mercedes-Benz to be found in Detriot, the facelift of the new E-Class. For the spotters and speedfreaks they also have some good news, the facelifted AMG-version of the E-Class which must many people make shiver. Mercedes-Benz released a photo of the new E 63 AMG in full glory.
In terms of design AMG will head another direction, from austere to an more elegant design. The headlights are much more elegant and the front bumper looks way different from the last generation. Other new details are new wheels and widened wheelarches. It’s plausible that the new S-Class in AMG-spec will have a similar bodykit. Two big air intakes will be the main details of the new generation AMG’s. Under the bonnet we can find a 5.4 liter V8 with around 450 bhp of power. That must be anough to keep up with the Audi RS6 Avant C7 and the BMW M5 F10 . The most important weapon of the AMG is the 4Matic-system which will be available on the E 63 AMG. This will divide the power over four wheels so the car will have grip in any situation.
