The name doesn't make up for what's missing from this new Mercedes-AMG

You can make the name as hot as possible, but it does not make up for the lack of an important part on this car. We are looking at the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E-Performance F1 Edition, with a four-cylinder engine.

It's over and out with the V8 in the C-Class. For years we could hear a hammering V8 from the exhausts and that has now been reduced by half. Too bad, but there is no shortage of power with the new Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E-Performance. No less than 680 hp and 1,020 Nm of combined power is available. The four-cylinder does not do the job alone, since hybrid applications can no longer be ignored. From moment zero you have all the power available and that is no different here. You reach 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, while the car accelerates to a maximum of 280 km/h. The F1 Edition is painted in Alpine Gray that gets darker towards the bottom. In addition, the sills and the front and rear bumpers are finished with red accents. According to Mercedes-AMG, this is a reference to the Mercedes-AMG Medical Car that is ready during the F1 races, but that car is completely red if we are correct. So what exactly does AMG mean by this? The F1 Editions are further equipped with the AMG Aerodynamics Package, a package that brings a larger splitter and a different diffuser to the C 63s. The sedan version gets a spoiler on the butt.
