The last iteration of the legendary V10

When one lays eyes on this car, tears should come to the eyes of every car enthusiast, as this car is yet another harbinger of the grim future of the internal combustion engine. It's the very last R8 to be built, after which the R8 program will be completely discontinued after 17 years. Audi is also introducing more electric cars, phasing out more of their combustion engine offerings. What a tragedy!

The era of the internal combustion engine is numbered. More and more electric cars are taking the place of their combustion counterparts, and some of these vehicles are being completely removed from the lineup, such as the iconic and stunning Audi R8. One feels ashamed of the government that made these rules just a few years ago. But there's nothing one can do; it's simply happening.
This Audi R8 V10 GT RWD is meant to be an exclusive and extreme variant as the crowning finale of the R8. Twelve years after the debut of the first Audi R8 GT, Audi Sport GmbH is releasing the second edition of this exclusive super sports car: the new Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD. The output of the 5.2-liter V10 naturally aspirated engine has risen to 602 horsepower, making it the most powerful rear-wheel-drive version in the brand's history. A new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for quicker gear changes and the new "Torque Rear" driving mode allow the driver to choose the level of ESC assistance. This enables controlled and precise oversteering. The seven-stage rear torque can be adjusted using the knob on the steering wheel. The new R8 GT is limited to 333 units worldwide. New and exclusive exterior and interior features pay homage to the first generation of the R8 GT, including continuous numbering, special alloy wheels, and an interior combination of black and red.
