When you’re active in racing for many years your need for a fast car for your daily use disappears. A Bentley or an Aston Martin usually answer your needs. This is the story of living legend Sir Stirling Moss. During his years as a racing driver he won 212 of his 529 races, including the Mille Miglia in 1955. Nowadays he takes it easier, he is cruising around in an Aston Martin Cygnet.
Apparently, the ‘cheap’ Aston Martin is popular among the rich. We saw several copies drive around in Paris during our stay for the Paris Motor Show and we also see a lot of copies in London. Mister Moss was during his days as a racing driver active for Aston Martin and that’s why he decided to buy a Cygnet for the birthday of his wife, last year. Aston Martin made a big happening of this. The Cygnet with license plate SM7 is one of the first delivered Cygnets in London. It is a great car to see with its typical English Aston Martin Racing Green paint. On the inside Sir Stirling Moss choose for Obsidian Black leather with silver stitching for the contrast.
