The technicians of AMG are already busy testing the successor of the Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG. Last month, two copies were tested on the Nürburgring to find out how the car acts on the road. On one spot we see the mule while we see a lot of camouflage on the other spot.
The next generation of the C AMG will be presented on the Frankfurt Motor Show in September next year. Next to the new exterior, a lot of changes will take place under the hood. The 6.2 liters V8 won’t return, a 5461 cc V8 with two turbos will take its place. We don’t know whether the name of the car will change or not. Rumors are going that the name C 55 AMG will return. The 5.5 liters V8 will produce around 525 bhp. We can see that the C AMG will be longer than the current version. The version, codename W205, will also be a bit wider. Further we still see a lot of camouflage but the closer we come to September 2013, the less camouflage we will see.
