To fill the gap between the standard M4 and M4 GTS, BMW launches a new model between the two, called the CS. More rugged than a standard M4, but more civilized than the brutal GTS!
It is not the first time that BMW brings an M4 CS to the market. The first M4 CS was a limited edition of 60 copies, but they were only made for the Spanish market. Why it was only for the Spanish market remains a mystery. BMW is now ready to offer the CS to the rest of the world. We can expect the CS by the end of 2017, meaning it will come in the new 2018 model. The facelift for the 2018 4-series is planned for July 2017.
The Competition Sport i> will, as we indicated earlier, will be filling the gap between the standard M4 and M4 GTS. It will have the rear seat (that was absent in the GTS) and will come standard with the Performance Package and probably some elements of the GTS. The engine will most likely produce around 450 hp. On the spy shots we can clearly see the front splitter of the GTS splitter and a small spoiler at the rear of the car. This might become the nicest configuration of the M4, because the GTS with it's huge rear wing will not win a beauty contest!
