The BMW M3 E92 generation will always be remembered as the only M3 with a V8. But it was also a generation with a lot of special limited editions. The United States got the Frozen White Edition, the final model of the E92 generation. Only 150 copies were built.
The M3 Frozen Gray, M3 Frozen Black, M3 Frozen Silver, M3 Lime Rock Park are one of the limited editions that were made especially for the United States. All of them are sold out and very exclusive with only a dozen copies. To say goodbye to the E92 generation, BMW built the Frozen Edition line in the end of 2013. The M3 was available in Frozen White, Frozen Red and Frozen Blue. A total of 150 copies were built of which the copy in Frozen White was the most popular while the Frozen Red was the least popular version.
The car costs an extra 15.000 dollar and this was because of the following options. A matte paint, the Competition Package including matching sporty wheels and the Premium Package. The stitching in the interior has the same colour as the exterior of the car. All exterior details are glossy black. Under the hood, the M3 is still standard, the 4.0 liter V8 produces 420 hp.
