Spotted in Monaco: special yellow Ferrari Superamerica

It is a very respectable job if you can spot a car in Monaco without capturing a combo or loads of people with it. Still spotter FuturePhotography managed to do this, which of course resulted in some beautiful snaps of this Ferrari Superamerica. Next to that we don’t see the Superamerica often in yellow, despite it looks seriously good on the car.

The Ferrari Superamerica is an open-top version of the 575 M Maranello. With the special roof you can call it the successor of the Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina and the predecessor of the SA Aperta, two cars which are as exclusive as the Superamerica. Only 559 copies are build, so you’re a quite lucky person if you come up one on the streets. Of course this car is equipped with a V12 under the bonnet, without that a top-of-the-range Ferrari wouldn’t be complete. With 540 bhp you can go to hundred kilometers per hour in just 4.2 seconds and with a topspeed of 325 kilometer Ferrari could call it the fastest convertible car in the world. That however wasn’t necessary, because customers bought the car for its beautiful looks, which also look timeless nowadays.
