A Ferrari F40 out and about will give any car guy (or girl) goosebumps. Although the Netherlands is only a small country when compared to our neighbors like Germany or France we are lucky to currently have 14 registered Ferrari F40’s in the country. Some might be hiding in private collections gathering dust and appreciating in value but there are a few owners that actually take out these gems and this spot proves it.

Only 3 spots of the Ferrari F40 have been uploaded in the Netherlands so far this year although one of these spots originates out of 2017. Funny enough these 3 spots are 3 unique cars as well and all 3 spots were awarded with a spot of the day trophy.

There is no doubt that these Ferrari’s are rare to find but they could have been quite a lot more rare. Originally Ferrari planned to build only 400 examples of the car. After a huge demand from their customers they changed their plans and in the end 1315 units were produced. It is pretty hard to find out how many of those are left (believe me, I tried). When you get into a fender bender with a Ferrari F40 chances are big you are getting that puppy fixed, we did see a Ferrari F40 burn to the ground earlier this year and I can imagine a few other cars suffered that same fate.
