SpeedART SP81-R: The first modified Porsche Boxster 981

Porsches basic model is the Boxster. Recently, the new Boxster was introduced and if you look at the outside you can’t really speak about a basic model. The new Boxster looks exclusive and doesn’t look cheap or basic at all. It was the tuner speedART who thought it was a good reason to make a kit for this nice Porsche.

That the Boxster is one of the sportiest cars to drive, isn’t a secret. Even the ‘normal’ Boxster gives you an enormous kick when you drive, even at legal speeds. The new Boxster is, just like the older models, a big sensation to drive. It has got enough power for even more fun. SpeedART developed a kit for those who think 265 bhp isn’t enough. Their option will give the car 20 bhp and 15 ft lbs of torque extra. This is realized by a new exhaust, new catalysators and a modified ECU. But with such modifications, we think you can get more power from the six cylinder engine. Further, the chassis is modified to go even faster trough corners!
The exterior also is slightly modificated. The Boxster (S) will get speedART-LSC alloy wheels in the sizes of 20 or 21 inch. At the back, a spoiler and diffuser are mounted. At the front, also a small spoiler is recognizable. In the future speedART of course will come with more fireworks. We have to do with this until now.
