The bespoke department of McLaren, McLaren Special Operations, released photos of a one-off MSO 650S Coupe Concept. McLaren will introduce the car in China in the next few weeks to show new bespoke components of the MSO program including a new carbon fiber diffuser and carbon fiber sideblades.
Everything at McLaren is about carbon fiber. The material makes the car lighter and gives it a more sporty look that fits the company. The MSO 650S Coupé Concept is painted in the colours Agrigan Black. A black metallic paint with a deep ruby red metallic paint which stands out in sunlight. New are the GT3 inspired carbon fiber diffuser and carbon fiber sideblades. The interior is fitted with new one-off carbon fiber racing seats, inspired by the seats from the P1. The seats reduce the weight with 15 kilograms.
McLaren unveils this model as a one-off design study but based on the reactions on this model they will decide what to do with this model. The MSO carbon fiber sideblades and diffuser are immediately available for the 650S and 12C.
