Second super-F40 is spotted: Ferrari F40 LM Michelotto

The Ferrari F40, very dangerous to drive if you haven’t got enough driving experience. With power up to almost 500 bhp and without any safety feature it’s one of the most dangerous cars to drive without experience. However, Ferrari has build an even more powerful version, the LM. Michelotto, from origin a Ferrari-dealer helped to design this car. Michelotto specialized itself in converting street legal Ferrari’s to racing cars.

The results are stunning. They could save 300 kilograms from the already very low weight of 1365 kilograms. Great work if you keep in mind that the F40 already has much less luxury than other supercars. This wasn’t the only change. The three liter V8’s turbos were given a higher boost. The result was a mind blowing 760 bhp and 700 Nm of torque! 0-62 mph was possible in 3.1 seconds. If you kept down the throttle completely, you could reach 230 mph. Outrageous performance for a car which is twenty years old. Only 19 copies have been build, which can be recognized by adjustable spoilers and some other small details. One of the few places you hopefully can spot this car is Monaco, all the copies which are spotted are on Monegasque license plates. This isn’t very weird, Monaco is the finest of the finest, just like the F40 LM Michelotto.
