Often your read rumors that only make you lach, but some of them can be really interesting. If you ask us, this latest rumor is a very interesting one. The Porsche 991 Targa, which is finally back as a real Targa, is doing great and Porsche seems to consider building a more powerful version. Does this mean that they will use the existing technology? They will probably do!
This is how the rumor is born that Porsche could build a 991 Targa Turbo. All styling characteristics of both cars are combined to a beautiful car, like we see in this rendering by Tim Hutton. An eventual Porsche Targa Turbo wouldn't be that new for Porsche actually. Back in the days they already built a Targa Turbo, which is very rare nowadays! This car was a so-called flatnose and looked really extreme. The current version will be more civilized. At least, when Porsche decides to build this car!
