How is the weather in Kansas during winter? It looks kind of cold and dull..

Thanks guys!!! @dare2drive the weather has been all over the place, freezing cold to nice temps. Last week it was -15C and this week it is going to be +20C. Two weeks ago snow and it feels like beach weather this week :) So I expect to see plenty this weekend!
