Tomorrow, at 5.00 PM, the 24 hours of the Nürburgring will start. Like always, it's a real spectacle in which Aston Martin also takes part. They will drive an Aston Martin Rapide S powered by Hydrogen and driven by no one less than Ulrich Bez, the CEO of Aston Martin. This will not be the only news from Aston Martin, they will also reveal the CC100, of which some teasers are uploaded to the internet.
It will be an limited version of a roadster, based on the V12 Vantage. The car will have no doors or roof, which makes an similar concept as the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss. The CC100 will be made to celebrate the 100-year Anniversary of Aston Martin, and with this concept, Aston Martin makes an hommage to the 1956 DBR/1 which also starred in Geneva last March. The interior will have a wooden steer and round clocks to amplify the historical design features of Aston Martin. Only two copies will be made, these will found their way to a rich man's driveway quickly, we suppose. We will know how the car looks within several hours, so stay tuned!
