One of the oldest and one of the newest

We all love such combinations, where we see the same vehicle in ancient and ultra-modern forms. Before you now say that the old one isn't even a 911, the 911 wasn't invented until 15 years later. So, the 356 is its direct predecessor.

In this picture, you can wonderfully see what happened in almost 80 years of sports car history. The cars became enormously larger, faster, and of much higher quality. While the 356 in the 1940s and 1950s was the ultimate in terms of sports cars, luxury, and quality, today it is a small, round, old, and somehow sweeter classic car. On the other hand, the 992 is a huge, long, and enormously beautiful, super modern sports car. Of course, only when compared to a 356. If you were to put any SUV next to it, the 992 would, of course, be a very dainty vehicle again. Also extremely noticeable is the enormous precision of the 992. All lines are ultra-perfectly coordinated, and the gaps are extremely precise. In 1945, this was of course not technically possible. But what is extremely impressive are the many parallels that these two vehicles have. Just the shape alone suggests to any non-expert that these two cars are purebred Porsches. And that is incredible. Because when you compare them to other brands, that is often not the case. Many brands vary so much over the years that you lose track after just a few years. Not so with Porsche. (Of course, SUVs and sports sedans are excluded. But these are also not purebred Porsches...)
