Mercedes presents the new AMG GT at the Monterey Carweek

Mercedes-Benz is presenting a new model at the Monterey Carweek – the second generation of the AMG GT.

In these days, we are receiving many new models, facelifts, and successor models from the United States. Mercedes-Benz is also releasing another generation of their flagship model, the AMG GT.
The second generation of the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe marks the newest flagship of Mercedes-AMG. It combines exceptional driving dynamics with increased everyday usability. Advanced technological features like the sophisticated AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension, which actively compensates for body roll, the standard integrated rear-wheel steering, and the dynamic aerodynamics sharpen the character profile of this vehicle. The sporty-oriented coupe now also utilizes the state-of-the-art, fully variable all-wheel drive, AMG Performance 4MATIC+, to transfer its power to the road. This, combined with the powerful AMG 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, results in a driving experience at the peak of possibilities.

The exclusive architecture of the AMG sports car, consisting of a complex aluminum-composite body structure, allows for a 2+2 seating arrangement. This provides the occupants with a generous feeling of space and sufficient room for their luggage. The new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe represents the fifth distinct model series, following the SLS, the first-generation two-door GT, the GT 4-Door Coupe, and the SL, once again demonstrating the impressive technological expertise of the development team from Affalterbach. The market launch takes place as the AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupe with a power of 430 kW (585 PS) and as the AMG GT 55 4MATIC+ Coupe with a power of 350 kW (476 PS).
