Mercedes-Maybach brings us the G650 Landaulet

If you thought it couldn't get more extreme, you were wrong! After the Mercedes-AMG G63 6x6 and the G500 4x4 it is now time for the Mercedes-Maybach G650 Laundaulet. A landaulet in the shape of a G-Klasse? Yes, it is! Mercedes-Maybach used this concept earlier on the Maybach 62S. So what is a Laundelet, the historical meaning is "a car with a folding hood over the rear seats".

The car will be introduced to the public at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show that will open in March. Last week a select group of journalist was invited for a private showing. But they were not able to keep the photos and videos to themselves so were are able to get a glimpse of the new SUV. The V12 under the hood produces 625 hp and and more than 369 lb-ft of torque. While the driver is taking this car off-road you can expect to catch the dirt in the back. But more than likely we will find this car cruising down the boulevards of the rich capitals of the world.
