Manhart Racing makes the BMW 1 Series M Coupe even more fun to drive

Manhart is already, just like G-Power, almost thirty years active in the world of tuning. G-Power showed us a 1 Series M Coupe with a V8 recently. Tuner Manhart doesn’t copy this but they also made a project of the 1 Series M Coupe which makes the car more fun to drive.

Manhart had a goal when they went working on this 1 Series. It was all about optimizing the six cylinder biturbo engine. At first, the software is optimized. Next to that, a completely carbon fiber airbox, downpipes and bigger coolers are placed on the car. The result is an extra 125bhp and an extra 150 Nm of torque. This makes a total of 465 bhp and 600 Nm of torque.

The car isn’t light but the 1470 kilograms combined with the power of 465 bhp is just enough to make it a great drift car. We don’t know how long the MH1 S Biturbo needs for a sprint to 100 km/h.

Compared with the standard 1 Series M Copue, there aren’t much optical adjustments. A little extra carbon front spoiler and rear spoiler make the car a bit tougher and create more downforce. The adjustments in the interior are the BMW Performance seats with a Manhart logo on it.
