We could enjoy the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 2012 only for a moment. You might feel sad news coming up, but it isn’t, because the Grand Cherokee will have a small facelift. Good news for spotters, time to capture the new one!
There are some modifications done on both the standard models as the SRT-8. In the interior, a new speed-o-meter can be found, so as a bigger touchscreen. Another change, which is less exciting for us than for the hippies under us is the addition of a start- and stop system. Due this system, petrol can be saved. On the outside, we see new headlights and taillights, both with LED-lights. Further, the SRT-8 is equipped with launch control from now on, which is good fun at the traffic lights to provoke sports cars. Less than five seconds are needed to reach 100 km/h, this SRT-8 is much faster than you might have thought!
