Some people might be a bit surprised by the name 12Cilindri. However, the design will simply blow everyone away! It’s an absolute masterpiece. Read on for the first details.

When it comes to an 812 successor, I'm sure some of us have been thinking about it for a while. Yesterday, Ferrari finally unveiled a new model. It's a model we’ve seen test vehicles of here on Autogespot, but they were so well camouflaged that you couldn't really tell anything. As the name 12Cilindri suggests, this model obviously has a 12-cylinder engine, and it’s no less than the one from the 812 Competizione. With 830 horsepower, 692 newton meters of torque, 40 percent lighter titanium pistons, and a maximum rev count of 9,500 RPM, what more could you ask for?

What's pretty surprising is that Ferrari chose not to add a hybrid system. And that's completely the right move, because Ferrari customers don't want a front-mid-engine V12 with a hybrid drive. Unlike other brands, Ferrari respects its customers' preferences.
The design is absolutely stunning. It fits perfectly into Ferrari's current Icona series, even though this model isn't one of the limited SP models. The front end particularly reminds us strongly of the Daytona from the 1970s.

During the presentation of the 812 successor, a small piece of information was also shared. Ferrari plans to introduce its first all-electric model by 2025. It’s still unclear which model it will be based on.
