The Very First Electric Rolls-Royce on the Market

This car is a somber sign, indicating that the era of V12 engines in the beautiful Rolls-Royce models will sadly come to an end very soon because Rolls-Royce has decided to exclusively manufacture electric cars in a few years. The Spectre is the first fully electric model that Rolls-Royce is introducing to the market.

For all environmentally conscious individuals worldwide, this Rolls-Royce is a plus. Now, they can be chauffeured in a completely eco-friendly manner to their private jets (which, on average, emit about 15 tons of CO2 during a flight). What more can one communicate to others than the fact that they are traveling in an environmentally friendly way? Once others stop looking, no one really cares anymore.
Apart from the electric motor, which provides an extremely quiet driving experience, it is still unquestionably a true Rolls-Royce, offering a myriad of features. Whether it's the hand-stitched seam that holds together the very expensive leather of the luxury seats, the individual 1,000 LED lights that were also hand-sewn into the Rolls' headliner, or the exceptionally rare Hawaiian wood on the dashboard, it leaves nothing to be desired, especially in terms of expensive and rare materials that are very hard to come by.

With Spectre, Rolls-Royce is committed to an uncompromising electric future by specifying a fully electric powertrain instead of a hybrid solution. It is equipped with two separately excited synchronous motors. The front electric motor produces 190 kW / 365 Nm, while the rear motor produces 360 kW / 710 Nm. In terms of performance, this is equivalent to an internal combustion engine with 430 kW (584 hp) and 900 Nm of torque. In terms of acceleration, Spectre achieves 0–60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds (0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds).
