The Porsche 997 Turbo is very fast, but not really exciting. You'll have to try really hard to loose control of the four-wheel drive. Of course this is a compliment to the Porsche engineers who made a perfect car, but some just want to drive a more exciting car. For those people, Techart came up with the Porsche 997 Techart GT Street R.
At first, the car got a power boost, it now produces an extra 120 hp which makes it a total of 620 hp. This does affect the performance and handling of the car. The car sprints to 100 kph in 2.9 seconds and the top speed is now 333 kph. We don't know how much downforce is created by the enormous spoiler on the back but it will definitely be functional. Techart installed a new exhaust which still lets you enjoy the sound of the turbos when you floor the pedal.
