Retesting phase for the Carrera GT

Retesting phase for the Carrera GT

It's the year 2024, and we see a Carrera GT being tested at the Nürburgring. Is this just a bad joke, or has the tester of this Carrera GT disappeared and now reappeared after all these years? Read on if you want to find out the exact reason.

Of course, this is not a time-traveling Carrera GT tester, but rather a resumption of testing cars for a specific reason. Those who own a Carrera GT may have received a message from their trusted Porsche center a few months ago, advising them not to drive their Carrera GT anymore. This is because a somewhat more extreme weakness in the axle has been discovered. Over the years, this could lead to greater wear and tear on the Carrera GT, potentially resulting in an accident. To prevent this, Porsche advised against driving the GTs. This was, of course, voluntary. After all, we could still see Carrera GTs from time to time. Now, the newly developed screw has been accordingly developed and will probably be tested with this Carrera GT. It's even more beautiful that this test specimen is yellow. Because yellow is a pretty nice color for the GT.
