We already wrote it this morning, the Geneva Motor Show promises to be a show with a lot news. We hear more and more rumors about all sorts of cars that will be introduced on this show. Ferrari will come up with the renewed California, McLaren will probably show a new concept and Porsche comes up with the GT3 RS. A GT3 RS which will amazing and will be way better than the standard GT3.
The GT3 RS will be the most extreme RS, Porsche ever made. Its body will be based on the Turbo in addition to its predecessors. We will see two air intakes on the hips of the car. At the back, the car will look completely different due to the gigantic spoiler which looks likes it comes straight from the GT3 Cup! The production of the GT3 RS will start in June and the first copies will arrive at their rightful owners in July. From that moment, this car can be seen at the Nürburgring quite often. That's the perfect place to use this RS.
Technically, Porsche changes a lot. The engine will have a capacity of four liters. The 997 GT3 RS 4.0 was a herald of the 991 GT3 RS. This straight six boxer engine will produce 500 hp. A magnesium roof will reduce the weight of the car. Next to that, Porsche will use a lot of carbon fiber to reduce even more weight. The front wheels will be 20 inch while the wheels at the back will be 21 inches wide. Standard, the wheels will probably have Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires for a maximal performance.
