Everything at supercar dealership Vision of Speed is extreme. Beautiful bikes, some supercars and some one-off projects. We visited the company in October last year and we were surprised by all the beautiful cars. One of the most unique cars of their collection is a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren tuned by MKB.
Those who stop at the traffic light next to this SLR McLaren with a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 will think that they will bef aster. The Aventador LP700-4 produces 700 hp and the standard SLR McLaren produces ‘only’ 626 hp, but this matte white monster is more powerful. Tuning company MKB was asked by Vision of Speed to make this SLR McLaren more special. The tuner installed a biturbo to replace the compressor. This boosted the power up to 1111 hp. Next to that, the gearbox was adjusted to make sure that it could handle this much power. New gear ratios of the five speed gearbox increase the standard top speed of 334 kph to at least 350 kph. Vision of Speed hasn’t managed to reach a higher top speed yet. They want to take the car to the high speed track of Nardo, later this year to reach the real top speed of this monster. The car is for sale for €500.000,-.
