Last week, during the CES in Las Vegas USA, we got to see a photo of Mercedes-AMG's new hypercar! At that time we used the name Project R50 but now we know the official name, Project One.
Of course, that relates back to the Formula 1, and we are confident that some of the F1 technique will be used in this new car. Project One will be good for more than 1,000 horsepower and is being manufacturer in honor of the 50th anniversary of AMG. In the second half of this year this car will be introduced to the public. Pebble Beach and the IAA in Frankfurt are contending for the honor. Lewis Hamilton appears to be helping with the development of Project One. Anyhow it is being used this year in the development of cars from AMG. AMG GT RS which will come out this year, is also one of them. So it promises to be a great year for AMG!
