A race car based on a street Legal car. That’s what the McLaren 12C GT Sprint is. In July, McLaren released the press release of the 12C GT Sprint, a car for those who aren’t looking for a hardcore GT3 racer or 12C GT Can-Am Edition but who’re looking for a car which is still comfortable, but racy. That’s what this 12C GT Sprint is. David Kaiser sent us the following pictures from the Zurich Motor Show. The second largest motor show of Switzerland.
The car is 40 millimeters lower than the standard 12C and is also equipped with a set of slicks. In the boot in the nose of the 12C we find a oil cooler and a bigger intercooler which comes from the GT3 version. The interior of the car is completely stripped and the exterior is also changed. The front bumper, sideskirts and the wing on the back have to create more downforce on the track, where you want to drive this 12C!
