Yesterday Bugatti showed some photos of the Veyron Meo Constantini, a new model in the 'Les Légendes de Bugatti-series'. For today, we have some live photos coming straight from the parlour.
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Meo Constantini, as it's named in full, is the third in a streak of six models planned. Eerlier on we saw the Jean-Pierre Wimille and Jean Bugatti Legend being unvealed. Why did Bugatti choose for Bartolomeo 'Meo' Constantini? He was a very good personal friend of Ettore Bugatti and dual winner of the Targa Florio. He led the Bugatti racing team for eight years. The Vitesse 'Meo Constantini' shows references to the Type 35, a car which helped Bartolomeo on his way to victories.
Bugatti will built three copies of the 1.200 hp strong Bugatti for a price of €2.090.000,-, taxes excluded. The blue carbon fiber bodyworkrefers to the historical colour of French motor sport participants, like British Racing Green is for the United Kingdom. The second option is choose the new colour called 'Bugatti Dark Blue Sport', specially developed for this car. Underneath the enormous rear spoiler we can find a small map of the Targa Florio circuit. In the interior we can see drawings from the Twenties, they are integrated in the leather, together with the name of this car.
