Just like last year, we're present in Chicago to report one of the biggest shows in the United States, the Chicago Auto Show. Let's start off with the ultimate American car on the show, the new Corvette Stingray Z06.
This Stingray Z06 is one of the best supercars of the American automotive market. If there's one car we would love to drive it's this supercar. The previous generation Corvette was already impressive and the new Stingray seems be even better. The Z06 is an American brute, just like the previous generation Z06.
Corvette announces that they probably won't come up with a ZR1 and this means that the Z06 will be the top of the range model. That isn't a bad thing when we take a closer look at the looks of the car. The Stingray is the superlative of the Z06 from every possible angle. The specifications of the Z06 are also amazing, the car produces 625 hp and 861 Nm of torque! We don't know much about the performance but this will also be amazing. The new generation Z06 has only 25 hp less than the ZR1.
The Z06 can be equipped with three different aerodynamic packages, to focus more on track driving. The standard Z06 has a front splitter, air sleeves around the front wheels, a unique carbon fiber hood with bigger grill and the rear spoiler from the Performance Pack of the Corvette Stingray Z51. Optional, you can get a carbon fiber aero package with a carbon fiber front splitter, winglets, side panels made out of carbon fiber and a big spoiler on the back. Next to that, you can also order the optional Z07 package. This consists bigger winglets and a better view through the spoiler on the back, which is ideal on the track.
