Bugatti had conquered chrome for itself

When one thinks of chrome parts in automotive history, American cars from the 1950s and 1960s come to mind. But also Bugatti. With the release of the Veyron, chrome plating came back into fashion. But only with Bugatti.

We have written about chrome Bugattis several times before. Every time one appears that looks as flawless as this one here, it can only be said that it was an extremely good option to embellish this hypercar. For many people, chrome parts on cars are often scorned. With new cars, they are either not configured, deconfigured, or covered afterwards. One could say that people were fed up with the "embellishments." However, chrome had a different meaning at Bugatti. Not only were small details chromed, but if desired, the entire car could be chromed. And it was accepted. Not only that, but it was also ordered extremely often. Here we see a particularly beautiful combination of chrome and black paint. In this example, the chrome is in fantastic condition. And that's not a given. The reason for this is that these chrome parts require a tremendous amount of care. Simply cleaning is far from enough. It needs to be completely polished repeatedly. If this is not done, something very bad happens. Over time, the chrome becomes covered with minimal scratches that almost make the chrome appear dull. This not only looks incredibly stale but almost disgusting.
