For those who want some spoilers on their Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, they had to visit tuners like Hamann Motorsport and FAB Design. But meanwhile you can also get some extra AMG spoilers at your AMG dealership. You can choose for the SLS AMG Black Series and the first copy is now spotted!
Spotter Jeancala spotted the first copy in an outstanding yellow colour, Solar Beam, in Barcelona. This is an exclusive paint which will only be available on the Black Series. AMG has done everything to make this an outstanding monster. The bodywork is wider, 20 millimeters on the front and 24 millimeters at the back and the extra spoilers aren’t only decoration. The Black Series can be used on the track and the carbon fiber components create a lot of extra downforce and they also reduce the weight with 70 kilograms. All the gigantic spoilers belong to the AMG Aerodynamics package and they can’t be missed on a model like this.
The engineers did some great work on the V8 and upgraded it to 631 bhp. They placed new camshafts, a new air intake and they improved the oil- and water-cooling. They also placed a new titanium exhaust which weighs 17 kilograms less. The sprint to 100 kph can be done in 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 315 kph. Other technical extras are a differential lock, a adaptive undercarriage and launch control. They did everything they could to make this the fastest AMG of this moment.
