The new SRT Viper is only spotted once and now tuner Hennessey Performance already has a powerupgrade for the new SRT Viper. The American supercar has enough power of its own but more is always possible!
Hennessey Performance is working on two packages to satisfy their customers. Because 614 bhp and 814 Nm of torque is just not enough. The first package is the Venom 700R where high-flow cylinder heads are placed, new high-flow catalysts, a changed exhaust system and a K&M air filter. The power rises to 725 bhp and 942 Nm of torque. We don’t know who can handle a car like this but that’s not important for Hennessey. You have 3 years or 36.000 miles warranty after you’ve tuned your car.
For the real fireworks you have to wait a little longer. Because eventually Hennessey will come up with the Venom 1000 where the power is upgraded to a stunning 1120 bhp. The exterior is also changed with a lot of spoilers made out of carbon fiber. We don’t know what effect the 1000 bhp will have but the standard SRT Viper already sprints to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.
