Hardly any car has caused as many headaches for everyone involved as the AMG ONE. For many years now, they were supposed to have all been delivered, and the lucky customers should have been tearing up the streets with them, but that's not the case!
When a new car comes onto the market, it's normal for some flaws or quirks to arise during testing. These are then fixed as quickly as possible, and the car goes into production and gets sold. With a hypercar, of course, this is even more pronounced. The systems, the materials, and everything found in this vehicle are all a bit more delicate, expensive, and can exhibit defects more quickly. With the AMG ONE, however, everything went beyond the limits, and the project did not go at all as it should have. Then numerous regulatory requirements were added, further complicating the entire project. Presumably, any other car brand would have long since abandoned this extremely demanding and costly project, but not Mercedes. And for that, they definitely deserve praise. It seems they're sticking it out until the end.
However, there's currently no end in sight because even though some vehicles have been delivered to customers, deliveries have been stopped again indefinitely, and tests are still being conducted on vehicles. Just like this one here. This is also a test vehicle that was spotted in Sitges in eastern Spain. How long it will take for all AMG ONEs to be delivered is impossible to say. It could be completed in a year, but it could also last another 10 years. Which is highly unlikely and not something we really hope for...
