Geneva 2017: Lamborghini Huracán Performante

After seeing the big back of the Lamborghini Huracán Performante we can now finally take a closer look at the final model. Lamborghini showed us a lot of teasers and renderings and now the moment is finally here. Do Ferrari and McLaren need to prepare themselves for this model?

It looks like it. The Performante versions of the Gallardo were known for their sharp and aggressive handling and hopefully it isn’t any different with this model. The V10 got an extra boost to 640 hp. Together with a weight of only 1382 kilograms this results in a sprint from zero to 100 kph in just 2.9 seconds. 200 kph is reached in just six seconds later. The top speed is reached at 325 kph. Actually that’s the least interesting specification because it’s all about the handling of this car. The Performante is built for aggressive driving with its big spoiler on the back and the big bumpers on the front. The first reviews will show us how good this car is. It’s too bad that Lamborghini affects this introduction with the ‘fake’ lap time on the Nürburgring. That’s something a car like this one doesn’t need.
