Every manufacturer in Geneva will bring the best they have. Aston Martin will bring at least two scoops to the show. The Aston Martin Vulcan, a brutal track orientated car and a street legal racer. This street legal racer will be limited to 100 copies and we can now already meet this racer.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Special Edition was already teased by Aston Martin a few weeks ago and they now unveil the car. The car is powered by the V12 we know from the V12 Vantage S and produces up to 600 hp. Combine this with a car that lost 100 kilograms of weight and the result is a brute. The engineers in Gaydon made a big improvement on the V12 Vantage S. The car is wider and lower. Next to that, the car is fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires for an even better handling.
Just like every manufacturer does nowadays Aston Martin used a lot of carbon fiber. We see that the front splitter and the spoiler at the back will be made out of this material. Even the hood, door trim and maybe even the roof are made out of carbon fiber. To reduce the weight even further Aston Martin makes the windows of the car out of polycarbonate. The weight of the car is reduced to 1.565 kilograms thanks to all these adjustments. The car will be available in several different colours thanks to the Aston Martin by Q program. North-America and China will be disappointed because this limited model won't be available in these parts of the world.
