About 10 years ago, Ferrari introduced a race version of the Enzo called the Enzo FXX. Only 38 copies were produced and owners could only use their toy on track days organized by Ferrari itself. Still, someone has managed to make his or her FXX street legal, and you now have the opportunity to own one yourself.
It is a little puzzling, if you were to ask me. You purchase one of the 38 race toys for about $1 million dollar, but you are not allowed to drive it where and when you want it. Yes, in exchange you receive the best service and when you are ready to drive the car on the race track it is tuned and prepared to take the car to its limits. But still...
One owner was in agreement, and able to get his or her FXX street-legal. And it was Ferrari that made it all possible and customized this car so it can hit the road, instead of the track. To make it street-legal Ferrari had to change the suspension, mount street tires, add lane changing signals and many other essentials. The good news is that they didn't have to make any modifications to the engine. The seller still has all the parts to make it a pure race car again, so now you can participate in the races and enjoy the car on the street.
