Ferrari F12M will supersede the F12tdf

This news will please the future owners of the improved Ferrari F12berlinetta. The facelift of the F12berlinetta will, according to a user on Ferrarichat, outperform the Ferrari F12tdf. For now we are calling it the F12M and the new Ferrari will be introduced in Geneva at the 87th International Motor Show.

The F12M will receive a 6.5 liter V12, producing 800 hp and 530 lb-ft of torque. The naturally aspirated motor is capable of delivering 80 percent of torque at just 3500 rpm. Combined with the extra 20 hp, this can be considered a significant upgrade of the Ferrari F12td. The F12M will receive AWS, all wheel steering, and the dual-clutch transmission will make upshifts 30 percent quicker, while it downshifts 40 percent faster than its previous version. The real fun starts with the acceleration. The differences in 0-62 mph are diminishing so the new focus is 0-124 mph and the F12M will get there in just 8 seconds. The design will bring new horizontal lines and a new diffuser. Next week there will be a private showing in Geneva and it will probably not take long before we see the first new photos. That seems to be the trend today, it is hard to keep a secret.
