Coming up with a new car in a market filled with lots of successful models. Jaguar doesn’t seem to have any problems with it and that’s why they came up with the F-TYPE. Not a bad choice after all. The car is available for a while already and the car sells quite good. Next to that, Jaguar also found some enthusiasts for the F-TYPE Coupé which was already spotted in Dubai, last Thursday. Next year, we will take the F-TYPE Coupé for a ride, this year we drove the Roadster!

Instead of driving the most powerful version we drove the F-TYPE S. The three liter supercharged V6 produces 380 hp and 460 Nm of torque. The F-TYPE is painted in the colour ‘Ultimate Black’ and the interior has a red colour with ‘Jet stitching’ and a Jet dashboard. The center console is finished in Dark Hex Aluminum. A great combination for this beautiful Jaguar. We didn’t choose the F-TYPE S ourselves, this car was recommended because of its amazing sound. We have to say, the sound is really amazing, the V6 produces a lovely sound and when you release the throttle, you’ll hear some pops in the exhaust. The sound of the F-TYPE S is even so loud that the microphone couldn’t handle it every now and then. That’s a good thing, it can’t be loud enough! Definitely with the top down, it’s a pleasure to listen to the Jaguar’s V6.

This F-TYPE S is equipped with almost every option. The price of this copy is €125.750,- while you can buy a standard F-TYPE S for €104.000,-. What extras does this F-TYPE S have? Standard, the F-TYPE is already equipped with options like the QuickShift eight speed automatic gearbox with Winter, Sporty and Dynamic mode, Active sport exhaust, sport seats with Suedecloth/leather facing and the Jaguar Sound System. There are plenty of extra options left, this F-TYPE S also has an adjustable active sport exhaust, Performance seats which are partly adjustable with a Premium leather facing, Sport steering wheel with a flattened underside and a Meridian Sound System 380W with ten speaker. These options make the car cost you an extra 10.000 Euros. But if you ask us, it’s worth the price because these options really add something to the car and are worth the money!

Everyone who drove the F-TYPE is very positive about the car’s looks and handling. We can only confirm this. It’s amazing what Jaguar did with the F-TYPE. This car doesn’t only promote the brand but it also brings driving to a higher level. We don’t know whether it’s due to the powerful V6 but, with the top down, the dynamic function activated and the gearbox on the manual mode, it’s a real fest to drive the car. The sound from the two big exhausts make you want to shift gears to hear the pops in the exhausts. The eight speed gearbox works perfect. In the more normal automatic modes it’s a very smooth gearbox. When you floor the pedal, the gearbox reacts in a perfect way. Where the other Jaguars and Land Rovers have the JaguarDrive button, the F-TYPE has a traditional gear shift. Another nice gadget in the interior is the air vent that pops up when you activate the ventilation. When you’re driving with the top down and without ventilation, this air vent is hidden, this looks a lot better. When you’re driving around, everyone will see a beautiful Roadster with beautiful lines which refer to the old E-Type. The Roadster already looks great and we can’t wait to drive the Coupé, which must be great too!

Like we already wrote, it’s a pleasure to drive the car due to the lovely sound of the V6. The handling of the car is also great. The car has a lot of grip in corners. The steering wheel feels good and gives you a good feeling of what the car is doing. It isn’t very hard to make the car do a powerslide. Of course we promised to be careful with the car and its tires but it’s very hard to control yourself when you’re driving this car. The F-TYPE S spritns to 100 kph in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 275 kph. The Coupé, with its 550 hp, will have a top speed over 300 kph. We really like the F-TYPE and hope that everybody will like the car. It would be a shame when we won’t see this car on the streets. It would be even better when these cars have an outstanding colour such as the orange Firesand colour! We recommend you to watch the movie!
