This year, Autogespot is present in Chicago for the Chicago Motor Show. A parlour which isn’t as big as the parlour of Detroit or Geneva, but still we don’t want to deprive the most interesting cars for you. Dodge came up to the parlour with a special version of the Challenger R/T which will have the addition Redline to its name.
Last year Dodge showed the Challenger Rallye Redline in Chicago but that was no excuse to don’t come up with a car they thought. The Redline-edition is a proper Dodge with a typical Dodge-look. Next to that this is an ode to their selling success of 2012 of this car. The coupe has got a 5.7 liter V8 Hemi-engine under the bonnet to provide the car of 380 bhp and 542 Newtonmeters of torque. Only four colours will be available on this special edition and these colours are Pitch Black, Granite Crystal, Bright White and Billet Silver. As the name says, this car also comes with sporty red striping on the body and the wheels. A standard Challanger R/T costs only $31.990,- in America, the extra price for the kit is 1.995 American dollars. When we convert this to euros this car doesn’t only cost 25.000 euros, which makes this car the bargain of the century talking as an European!
