    You don't seem to post many of these even though they are hugely popular in the US. Do you just not take pictures of them usually or are they not as popular in your area?

    @LucasH I absolutely love US muscle cars and I take pictures of every V8 muscle car I can find on the road. The problem is that Fairfield County is literally the only place in the US where muscle cars are scarce.

    Most of the people in Greenwich are stock brokers on Wall Street during the week so when it comes to sports cars, they see them solely as an investment. They will buy the safest spec sports car possible (usually black, grey, white or dark blue), drive it for three years, and then trade it in for the newest model. The only reason why Porsches are so popular in Fairfield County is because they retain their value, they are one of the most reliable cars on the market so you save on repair expenses, and you still get most of your money back when you trade it in. So when you go spotting here, you will see a bunch of neutral-colored 911s everywhere. Buying a sports car is all about numbers and money for them and not about driving and appreciating your car.

    @LucasH

    All these cars that I spot in Greenwich, Westport, New Canaan and other areas in Fairfield County, the owners aren't car guys at all, they are investors who want to show off their wealth but still be humble about it. Hell, if you follow the Miller Motorcars Instagram, you will see that they delivered all of these hypercars to people. Most of them just sit in the garage until they gain value and it's time to sell it.

    Go to literally any other part of the US, you will find a bunch of muscle cars everywhere. When I went on family vacation to Maine two years back, I couldn't believe the car scene there. Everyone was driving Camaros, Corvettes, Mustangs, etc. that were in these beautiful, bright colors with fun vanity plates attached to them (I've uploaded most of them to my AG profile already). It was such a nice change of scenery from Fairfield County because the people who owned them are obviously car guys who love their car and not some number-cruncher being a part of the herd of Porsche sheep because it's the most profitable car out there.

    I sound like a spoiled brat I know and I should be grateful for what I see here, but when the same thing is repeated over and over again with no variety, creativity or imagination, it wears on you after awhile.

    @Rivitography

    I understand. Must be annoying to see that happening. On the other hand, most American car spotters would be jealous of the cars you come across on a regular basis over there. However, naturally, it would be nice if it were more mixed and we would all find more different kinds of cars. Cheers!
