Over a year ago the BMW M4 F82 Coupé was introduced and the first customers got the keys of their cars. Now they come up with two new concepts. The BMW Concept M4 GTS and the 3.0 CSL Hommage R, which will be highlighted later on. For now we will aim at the Concept M4 GTS which is a herald of the real GTS.
The M4 GTS shares technology with the M4 MotoGP Safety Car which was a great testing object. The six cylinder engine has water injection to decrease the temperature of the combustion which makes it possible to increase the compression without any damage to the engine. With the addition of water injection the power is boosted but BMW can't tell us yet how big this boost will be. We guess that the car will gain 20 to 30 hp.
Optical, the M4 GTS is also different than the normal M4. A big wing on the back will make sure that you will stand out. At the front we see an adjustable splitter for better aerodynamics. The colour has an amazing name: Frozen Dark Grey Metallic with Acid Orange details. We see these details on the splitter and the wheels.
