Autogespot no longer accepts 'campingspots' to events

A new year and therefore the perfect opportunity to introduce a new spotting rule. Starting January 1st 2019, we will no longer accept so-called 'campingspots'. An example is the many spots we see from Boulogne-sur-Mer (France) where cars cross the English Channel on their way to Le Mans. Spots in Barweiler (close to the Ring in Germany) or the many villages along the route to Goodwood are other examples.

So what are 'Campingspots'? Campingspots are those spots where the spotter is camping out and spots a ton of cars heading to an event. These type of spots are no longer accepted on Autogespot. Many of these spots are posted, methodically, throughout the year and conquer the title Spot of the Day.

Here are some examples:

- Waiting for the Ferry to arrive in Boulogne-sur-Mer, or the train to arrive in Coquelles with cars that go to, or coming back from to Le Mans.
- Villages along the route to Goodwood
- Barweiler or similar towns in Germany where many cars are heading towards the Ring.
- Other large events where great group of cars are heading towards events.

Ay questions about this new, or any other existing rule? Please send an email to feedback@autogespot.com.
