No, this is definitely not a De Tomaso Pantera. According to the manufacturers of this car, however, one could consider it as the modern interpretation of a Pantera.
ARES Design has been known since 2014 for modifying various existing vehicles. The Panther ProgettoUno was announced in 2017 as the first project fully designed by ARES Design (hence the name ProgettoUno). The car belongs to the company's "Legends Reborn" series; a range of models paying tribute to iconic cars of the past. The carbon fiber body is designed on the platform of a Lamborghini Huracán, which means, for this car, the renowned 5.2-liter V10 produces 650 horsepower. This enables the ProgettoUno to accelerate from 0 to 100 in 3.1 seconds. Nevertheless, it is a pity that the car is now only Italian, while the Pantera was a unique combination of an American V8 engine and an Italian appearance.
With a production number of 21 vehicles, this Panther can certainly be called a rarity. Yet, Spotter Fraka managed to capture his third unique find with this spot. Previously, he had already discovered a gray and a red specimen. Remarkably, all three spots originate from Milan.
