In 2019, it happened again: Koenigsegg introduced its second vehicle on a completely new platform after the Regera. While in the years before the Regera, they mostly stuck to the same vehicle base. Now, in the year 2024, two more vehicles with new bases have hit the market. Something big is happening at Koenigsegg.

For years, almost decades, it was customary at Koenigsegg for design changes to be very minimal. From the CC8S to the Agera, there were usually only small external changes like headlights, spoilers, or air intakes. In 2015, Koenigsegg finally unveiled a completely new and innovative vehicle with only one gear: the Regera. No one would have thought that not even four years later, a completely new vehicle would follow, equally innovative and even more modern. There were no special editions of the Regera, only the 80 models built over a period of four years. The last deliveries were in 2022. But then the Jeskos were ready. The first ones left the production line quite quickly. Last year, the Jesko Absolut also celebrated its first deliveries. It's hard to believe that Koenigsegg plans to start deliveries of the first four-seater hypercar, the Koenigsegg Gemera, this year. Let's hope we can see one soon.
However, in this spot, we don't see a Gemera but rather two Jeskos. Both have their roofs removed in the Middle Eastern heat and are parked side by side. The white Jesko has actually been spotted on Autogespot before. While we haven't seen it as a spot, it was showcased as a coveted exhibit at the Auto Zurich motor show, which we also reported on. That was in the fall of last year, and now it's already enjoying the sun in Dubai. The color scheme of the other Jesko is also unique. It's silver, which is already quite rare on a Koenigsegg, and then it's adorned with the colors of Sweden: yellow and blue.
