It's been more than five years since we last saw a Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta on our site. So far, only this one specimen is known, and it has its reasons.
When this car hit the market in 2018, it was announced that there would be only three units. The two buyers had to pay a whopping $15,000,000. Yes, you read that right – only two were available for purchase, as the first of the three went to Horacio Pagani himself. This is the one we see here and have always seen. The other one went to a well-known Pagani collection in Gibraltar. Unfortunately, it fell victim to a massive accident a year ago at the famous Supercar Owner Circle. However, it is supposed to be rebuilt. The fate of the third HP Barchetta is a big mystery. On one hand, there have never been any images from test drives. This has caused doubt, leading many to think that it was never actually built. Even now, five years after the introduction of the HP Barchetta, there is still no trace of the third one.
