In '47 was Carlo Abarth directeur bij het raceteam van Cisitila. Een jaar later ging de boel failliet en nam Carlo Abarth het merk over. Uit het faillissement verkreeg Abarth 5 204 raceauto's, die direct omgedoopt werden tot Abarth 204A. Het betrof twee volledige spiders en 3 exemplaren die nog niet af waren. Van dit exemplaar kan ik niet veel vinden online. Ziet er ook net wat anders uit dan de grijze die een poos geleden geveild is. Deze heeft de neus die meer weg heeft van een Cisitalia 1100, maar kan ook maar zo een van de 5 van het faillissement zijn. Wel is vindbaar dat deze auto 3x de La Leggenda Di Bassano heeft gereden en op het Antwerp Concours heeft gestaan.

Gave spot, de auto zelf is niet helemaal mijn ding. Voor- en achterkant lijken niet bij elkaar te passen. Ik had er overigens nog nooit van gehoord.
